Goodbye Brampton – Hello Chelsea – July 25 2021

I packed the rest of the stuff the night before.  Guitar, most last minute stuff, cooler and Judy’s laptop.
I was naturally up at 6 AM and because of last nights packing it was easy to be departed at 7 AM.
Silvia was ready to go and thankfully had not much stuff to pack.  We had a nice drive to Sabrina’s to say hi, and drop off Judy’s upgraded laptop.
We stopped in Perth for gas and a break discovering an older part of Perth that was really nice.  I’ve honestly never stopped in Perth.  There is tones of old history there to be discovered
A cool wooden draw bridge https://goo.gl/maps/AYfBVZ1pieHfG5cz9 located by Weatherhead Brew company https://www.weatherheadbrewco.com/ was a great spot to chill, relax and certainly check out in the future.
Our drive to Ottawa/Hull was uneventful and thankfully traffic was nothing even at 3 PM on a Sunday.
Marisela our host has very kind in informing us the previous guest in our room checked out late.
She had no time to clean it and was concerned of our arrival time.
We knew we were simply going to hit the road on our bikes so she was not to worry about having to clean for us. We went for a quick ride to the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre https://goo.gl/maps/ErWGkjUbmpxwuJSs9
It’s pretty hilly around here so it was kinda nice to get out of the car and crank on some hills.  We realized we had very little time to get back and get ready for our dinner visit.  We had hope to ride our bikes around the park but soon found No Bike signs.  Bummer, next time we will walk.
The main reason for our Ottawa visit was to visit her friends restaurant in Hull.  The restaurant was not open Monday so Sunday dinner was our only option.  The friend was not working but that did not stop us from enjoying a nice salad.
The staff was frantically putting away deck furniture soon after we started which meant the clouds we saw were about to open up.  Heavy rain started just as we got to our car.  The Rain-X and clean windshield really helped out. The roads were swamped with water but luckily the heavier Fit and it’s great tires had no issues.  It was time to wind down, say hi to our host, blog a bit and hit the sack.  Great day

Getting pretty close to done
These Honda racks are meant for a Civic.
The spacing on a Fit it not optimal.  Adjustments to the bag were needed

Just enough space for Silvia’s and my stuff

Popped by Sabrina’s to drop off Judy’s fixed computer and pee

Arrived safe in Chelsea
Long day of travelling.  Tine for a nice meal
And a beer
